Sam Rager offers audiences a charmingly dark perspective. Layering playful anecdotes with vulnerable pieces, she is able to connect with people on a deeper, yet sometimes uncomfortable level. Sam was one of Laughfest’s “Best of the Midwest” in 2019, a headliner at the inaugural Detroit Women of Comedy Festival, and her debut album, Trigger Warning* can be heard on SiriusXM.
Sam has a podcast on the Helium Podcast Network called "My Eulogies Please" that follows Shelley Stoker (Sam Rager), a lonely funeral director and undertaker, and her assistant, Bob Walton (Santiago Iglesias), as they set out into the world of podcasting. Their unknowing guests are friends/family/frenemies of the deceased delivering eulogies at funerals that were bugged. Click here to listen.
